Miss. AllenMiss Allen 3rd Grade Teacher

Miss Allen joined the Coates third grade team in 2016. She began her teaching career in Virginia Beach where she earned a Bachelors in Education from Regent University. She earned her Masters in English Language Learning from Western Governors University. She is experienced in both 3rd and 1st grade. Miss Allen is from Uniontown, Pennsylvania and is always rooting for the Steelers during football season. Her favorite subjects are math and writing. She enjoys spending time with her dog Scout, reading new books, and traveling when she has the time.

Miss. ChoMiss Cho 3rd Grade Teacher

Miss Cho joined the third grade team in 2016. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degree at George Mason University. She has experience teaching 3rd grade in Falls Church. Miss Cho’s favorite subjects are reading and social studies. She spends most of her vacations traveling. Miss Cho also enjoys filming and editing videos.

Mrs. ForteMrs. Forte 3rd Grade Teacher

Mrs. Forte joined the Coates administration team in 2015. She started her teaching career as an elementary school teacher in Arlington Independent School District (AISD) in Arlington, Texas. Mrs. Forte taught third grade for three years at Stenwood Elementary and she taught fourth grade for one year at Freedom Hill Elementary. Mrs. Forte graduated from UTA with her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Communications and went back to school to obtain her teaching license in Elementary Education. She can be often seen spending quality time with her husband Anthony and volunteering at McLean Bible Church.  Mrs. Forte loves cooking, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her husband for relaxation.

Mrs. RoyMrs. Roy 3rd Grade Teacher

Mrs. Roy joined the Coates team in 2016. She grew up in Queens, New York City. She started her teaching career as a Kindergarten gifted and talented teacher at a New York City public school. She also taught second and third grade gifted and talented there. Mrs. Roy graduated from Queens College with her undergraduate and graduate degree in Elementary Education. She also obtained an advanced certificate in gifted education from Hunter College. In her free time, Mrs. Roy loves traveling to new places with her husband, shopping, and watching movies. She looks forward to teaching 3rd grade AAP again this year.
