I am happy to be joining the Coates team this year! I am coming from Loudoun County, where I taught 5th grade the last four years. Prior to that, I lived overseas for 11 years. I started my teaching career in FCPS, where I have taught 4th, 2nd, and 6th grade. I currently live in Sterling, VA with my three wonderful children, cats, and a giant white furry dog from Romania. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling (especially to the beach), paddle boarding, gardening, and reading. I spend a lot of time watching my youngest son's baseball games!
