Mrs. Biedermann Mrs. Biedermann has had the pleasure of living in eight states and Germany. She has been teaching for 25 years. Mrs. Biedermann has been married for 43 years to her high school sweetheart. She has three children who are all grown up and four grandchildren. Mrs. Biedermann has two Dachshunds, Ginny and Winny who rule her home. Lastly, she is very excited to be at this wonderful elementary school.

Mrs. Bryant My name is Sarah Bryant and I am super excited to join the Coates family! I earned my bachelor's degree(s) from Virginia Tech in Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology. I then earned a Masters Degree in Behavioral analysis from Ball State University. I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and moved to Northern Virginia (Tysons area) following college graduation! In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and my 9 year old labrador retriever; Layne. I also love to bake and take different trips throughout the year! Traveling is one of my favorite things to do! Florence, Italy was my favorite trip; the food and culture was amazing. |
Ms. Myers My name is Geeta Myers. I am super excited to join the Coates family this year! This is my 15th year in FCPS schools. I have taught French Immersion, General Ed., and this year I will teach AAP. In my spare time you will find me dabbling in art, exercising, cooking, and taking care of my dog, cat, and parrots.” |

Mr. Redding My name is Mr. Redding I was born and raised in Redondo Beach, CA and this is my second year at Coates. I received my Bachelor's at Cal Poly Humboldt for Child Development. I have been working in classrooms in California and Denver for 5 years combined. Then I moved out to Virginia last year and joined the Coates family! In my free time I like to go golfing, fishing, and relaxing at a beach or the mountains. I also have 2 cats, Artemis and Mochi! |
Mrs. Rodriguez Mrs. Rodriguez was born and raised in St. Croix, USVI. She moved to Maryland in 2005, and moved to VA shortly thereafter. She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in education: Teaching and Learning. Mrs. Rodriguez joined the Coates family as a 4th grade teacher in 2018 and is excited to now teach 5th grade math. Prior to teaching at Coates, Mrs. Rodriguez taught 4th grade at Shrevewood Elementary for 7 years. She has also taught Head Start (Fairfax County), 6th Grade, and 7th and 8th grade math and science. In her free time, she enjoys participating in a wide range of activities with her family. She always looks forward to connecting and learning from the Coates staff as well as students and parents in the community. |
