School Counselor

I have been in education for 25 years, 15 of those as a school counselor. I starting my career in Las Vegas, Nevada and now live in Ashburn, VA with my husband, my son and 2 big dogs! I earned my master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. I love to dance, bake, & have quite a collection of costumes that the students will probably see me wear throughout the year. I am also a HUGE Star Wars fan!

Mrs. Eagan
Counselor

Mrs. Eagan started working at Coates as a school counselor in 2013. She started her education career as an English teacher for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. She became a counselor in 2000. Mrs. Eagan graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She received her Master's Degree in School Counseling at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga. She is married and has a son. As a family, they frequently vacation to Florida to enjoy the theme parks, and they enjoy spending time at the beach.

Mrs. Grady
Social Worker

Mrs. Grady is so excited to be a part of the Coates family again this year! She graduated from Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from George Mason University. She is married and has two dogs at home. When she is not at Coates she is cooking, traveling, spending time with family, and loving all things Disney! She loves to do art activities, sing, play the guitar, and cook. As a family, Mrs. Grady and her husband frequently vacation to Disney World. They also enjoy traveling the world together.

School Psychologist

Hello! My name is Rebeka Sessou and I will be Coates' School Psychologist this upcoming school year! I am from the Sterling, VA area. I am a VCU and GMU graduate! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking new recipes, going to concerts, and reading! 

Ms. Young
Counselor

I attended JMU for my undergraduate degree and GW for my Master's in school counseling. In my free time I enjoy running, training for races, and hiking. I love to read and spend time with my family and friends. I love anything to do with the outdoors and nature.
